Leadership and Career Coaching for Professionals
I partner with professionals and organizations navigating change, growth, and transition.
I offer leadership and career coaching for individuals, consultation and facilitation for organizations, and reflective supervision for other coaches.
Leadership and Professional Growth Coaching
I work with professionals to improve their leadership and management capabilities, enhance presence and confidence, strengthen communication and conflict-management skills, cope with challenges and transitions, become more organized and efficient, and cultivate resilience and well-being.
My coaching provides a space for clients to reflect and gain perspective, build self-awareness, clarify priorities, increase their sense of purpose and agency, and design a plan to achieve their goals. In addition to skilled inquiry and listening, I offer tools and resources such as written reflection exercises and assessments, curated readings on relevant topics, and tailored accountability practices. I partner with clients to brainstorm creative approaches to complex, difficult situations and support them as they navigate the crosswinds of change.
I help leaders improve their effectiveness by gathering constructive, actionable feedback from stakeholders, drawing on my expertise featured in a guidebook I co-authored: Fearless Feedback, A Guide for Coaching Leaders to See Themselves More Clearly and Galvanize Growth. I work with clients to co-create a meaningful stakeholder feedback process, interpret the feedback, and develop a behavior-change plan grounded in what resonates most.
“Amy helped me clarify my professional development goals and then confirm their relevance by conducting “360” feedback interviews… Amy consistently motivates me to apply what I’m learning and helps me reflect on and celebrate what’s working.”

Career and Transition Coaching
Advancement and Job Crafting:
I coach clients to advance professionally and find greater fulfillment in their work. Together, we explore what’s working and what’s not, identify possibilities, and re-craft their roles or situations for greater satisfaction and reward. Testimonials reflect my ability to help clients advance or re-orient successfully. I also bring insight into job-crafting and advancement from experience gained in my decades-long professional career
Career Transition:
For clients considering a job or career change, coaching provides a structured process to clarify goals and values, identify strengths and passions, brainstorm options, gather information to assess opportunities, and strengthen job search skills, such as networking and effective self-presentation, so they can confidently pursue a new path.
Career transition coaching helps clients recognize and address obstacles to change, including self-limiting mindsets and external constraints, and find bold yet realistic ways forward. Through skillful inquiry, extensive experience coaching career-changers, and a portfolio of tools and resources, I help clients move into more fulfilling jobs and careers. I bring empathy to this process from my own midlife career transition from lawyer to coach.
“Amy skillfully provided the tools to help me understand my priorities and determine what direction I wanted my career to develop next...She helped me gain new perspectives and expand my network, which opened me up to potential new career paths and resulted in contacts that led to employment opportunities.”
Cara Helmer, Policy Director, Legal Affairs
Organizational Consultation/Facilitation
I consult with organizations, including professional service firms, businesses, and nonprofits, on strategic planning, team building, and creative problem-solving. I also help organizational clients plan and facilitate effective meetings and retreats.
Organizations can be disrupted by fast-changing external circumstances or stymied by counterproductive internal patterns, making it difficult to see a way forward. I bring expertise, an outside perspective, and facilitated discussion to help organizations make meaningful progress addressing challenging situations.
“Amy was fantastic at helping us sort through our law firm’s planning goals in a concrete and highly useful fashion…After our planning retreat facilitated by Amy, we walked away having completed all the tasks we set for ourselves and with a clear roadmap.”
Duana Koloushkova, Attorney
Coach Supervision and Professional Development
I provide a supportive, reflective professional growth space for other coaches, known as supervision, where they can gain perspective on coaching challenges, deepen their skills, explore creative practices, and resource themselves. For newer coaches, supervision often focuses on self-awareness, confidence and skill building.
For more experienced coaches, it can offer space for deep reflection, transformative insight, and working through difficult coaching dilemmas.
“Working with Amy as a coach supervisor helped me learn additional approaches for playing a supportive coaching role while offering more of my own observations and reflections to clients. Amy is gifted at offering her thoughts on what she hears, sees and feels during our sessions and this always prompted a deeper conversation, allowing me to gain new perspectives.”
Lisa Colvin, Executive Coach
